Interpreting and Translation Service to public services, solicitors, companies and private
individuals. Plus Training workshops for interpreters and local authorities.

The type of information the website can collect via the enquiry form are: full name, company
name, telephone and fax number, address and email address.
Complete details of on each type of Personal Data collected are provided in the dedicated
sections of this privacy policy or by specific explanation texts displayed prior to data
collection. The personal data is freely provided by the Users.
Users are responsible for any third-party Personal data obtained, published, or shared through
this website and confirm they have the third party’s consent to provide the Data to the Owner.

The Data Contoller processes the Data of users in a proper manner and shall take appropriate
security measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorised
destruction of the Data.

The Data processing is carried out using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following
organisational procedures and modes strictly related to the purpose indicated. In addition to
the data controller, the Data may be accessible to certain taypes of persons in charge,
involved with the operation of the site (administration, finance, legal, system administration)
or external paties(such as third-party technical service providers, IT companies,
communication agencies)appointed, if necessary, as data data processors by the owner. The
updated list of these parties may be requested from the Data Controller at any time.

parties involved with the processing are located (interpreters and translators). For further

The Data is kept for the time necessary to provide the service requested by the Users, or

Data Controller suspend or remove the data that the users themselves have provided.

The Use of the Collected Data

The data concerning the User is collected only to enable and allow the Owner to provide its
services and for the following purposes. Until our registered interpreters and translators fullfil
the request made by the Users/Clients, and for contacting the interpreters/tanslators and Users
in order to deliver the requested service.

The Personal Data used for each purpose is outlined in the specific sections of this document.

Personal Data is collected for the following purposes and using the following services:
Third Parties: We do not share your information with any third party without your consent
and explicit understanding that some data is being shared. Most of our services require a third
party involved (Client, Interpreter or Translator) and as such requires a minimum amount of
information to be passed to the third party to enable us to deliver the service requested. If you
would like to find out exactly what data is shared please contact the Data Controler on the
details provided above. All third parties that we deal with are required to remove all shared
data within 72hours of completing the work required.
Contact form: Clients and individuals can get in touch with us by filling in this form online.
By filling in the contact/feedback form with their Data, the User authoritises the Owner to use
these details to reply to requests for information, interpreter bookings, translation and
interpreting quotes or any other kind of request as indicated by the form’s contents.
Personal data collected: address, company name, email address, name and contact number.
Cookies: Cookies are not used on our website or contact form.

Legal Action

The User’s Personal Data may be used for legal purposes by the Data Controller, in Court or
in the stages leading to to possible legal action arising from improper use of this website
form, information shared or the related services.

The User declares to be aware that the Data Controller may be required to reveal Personal
Data upon request of public authorities.

The Rigths of Users, Interpreters and Translators

All three groups above have the right, at any time, to know whether their Personal Data has
been stored and can consult the Data Controller to learn about their contents and origin, to
verify their accuracy or to ask for them to be supplemented, cancelled, updated or corrected,
or for their transformation into anonymous format or to block any data held in violation of the
law, as well as to to oppose their treatment for any and all legitimate reasons. Requests should
be sent to the Data Contoller using the contact information set out above.

Our website honours the Do Not Tract request Function, as it is solely an informational
website with a contact form. We do not keep a record of people who just visit it.

Definitions and Legal References

Personal Data(or Data): Any information regarding a natural person, a legal person, an
institution or an association, which is, or can be, identified, even indirectly, by reference to
any other information, including personal identification, UTR, NHS or reference number.

User (Client), Interpreter and Translator

User: The individual who uses this application to send a request for information or booking
form.
Interpreter: Self-employed individuals who work for the owner of this website/company as
face to face interpreters for members of the public which are customers of the users (service
providers like NHS, Local Authorities, Private Companies and Individuals etc.). The Owner
provides the interpreter with limited information in order to deliver the service to their users.
Mainly the bare minimum amount of information which is needed to enable the delivery of
the service requested(Likely information to be shared: service name, address, name and type
of appointment, date and time).
Translator: A person that works for the Owner and does written translations of documents
which sometimes contain sensitive information. Documents are emailed to them by the owner
and once translated they are emailed back to the Owner. The Owner then sends it back to the
USER who has requested the translation to be done.
The translators are required to destroy all received documents andfinal translations within 72
hours of completing the final translation.

Data Processor

The natural person, legal person, public administration or any other body, association or
organisation authorised by the Data Controller to process the Personal Data in compliance
with this privacy policy.

Data Controller (or Owner)

The natural person, legal person, public administration or any other body, association or
organisation with the right, also jointly with another Data Controller, to make decisions
regarding the purposes, and the methods of processing of Personal Data and the means used,
including the security measures concerning the operation and use of the Application. The data
controller, unless otherwise specified, is the Owner of this Application/Website.
