We offer services for public services, groups and individuals

Multilingua Devon was founded by Anil LEE  in 2007 in order to meet the language needs of the local BME community and the local public services in Devon. As we grew we began to provide services in Torbay and Plymouth as well. The biggest difference between us and many larger companies is that we are local, know the area and the needs of the communities well. Multilingua works in partnership with many public and voluntary services in Devon. We attend multiagency meetings and support other charitable organisations. We are a not for profit small business and have a close relationship with our interpreters, we meet them, interview them in person and get together at training workshops and Christmas dinners.

It is not easy finding trained interpreters in many languages in the South West. In order to overcome this obstacle Multilingua Devon colabrated with WEA SW in Exeter to provide accredited Level 3 Community Interpreting Courses all through the West Country. Most of the interpreters in the South West were trained by Community Interpreting Tutor Anil Lee who is also the Multilingua Managing Director. As a result Multilingua was able to recruit the interpreters that completed the training courses successfully. We know our interpreters very well; their strengths and weaknesses. Therefore we can match the best candidate for each job.
